World Changers is Saturday
We're leaving for World Changers on Saturday at 1:00 pm. If you are going it is my hope and prayer that God would use it to change your lives. If you are not going, I ask that you pray for your friends and family who are taking part in the trip. We can't wait to share the experience with you when we get home.
Remember - no Voltage 110 this Sunday July 20th. We won't be there.

Off to Cornerstone Festival
Well... a group of 12 of us is off to Cornerstone Festival in just about an hour. Please pray for favorable weather and a good time. Next Sunday at Voltage we'll hear a special message from Louie Giglio... (via video) You won't want to miss it. See you then!

Mother's Day

Are You Dreaming?
Tonight at Voltage 110 we talked about dreams. We talked about dreaming about our faith, dreaming about our future, and dreaming about our friends.
What would your faith look like if you were completely surrendered?
What would your future look like if you started making Godly choices today?
What would your friends look like if they met Jesus?
We also talked about going to see the new Narnia movie on May 17. If you're interested in attending, contact me by next Sunday so I can make sure we have enough transportation. You'll need money for food and your ticket.

Hey folks! I wanted to let you know that we'll be doing some work updating the information on the main Voltage website. You can find it at www.voltagestudentz.com
There will be a link back to this news blog from the main site. The main site will have all of our service times, a place for prayer requests, games, and forums where you can connect with other Voltage Students. My hope is that through everything we do you would be Plugged into a relationship with God and with others, that you would Charge up through learning and experiencing more of God, and Shine out the light of Christ for others to see.
Last night at Voltage 220, we had a really good session about sin and how we try to deal with it. A lot of times we try to hide it and cover it up with more sin. As we saw in the case of David...this doesn't work. We need to honest and look at areas of our lives where we need to ask forgiveness. We need to avoid getting into those tempting situations as much as possible and steer completely clear of anything that might hit us in our weak spots. We are to be holy. Don't let anything come between you and God.
